Musical.ly Star Kristen Hancher’s New Web Series “Misshaps” Is Essential Viewing

By August 18, 2017August 23rd, 2017Press Releases

Starring 18-year-old Kristen Hancher — one of the top performers in the world on Musical.ly (a social media platform for creating and sharing short vids, if you’re unfamiliar) — the show is described as a modern-day I Love Lucy. With nearly 15 million followers on Musical.ly and almost 3.5 Instagram followers, it’s safe to say this up-and-comer is one to have on your radar. She’s most definitely on ours, that’s for sure. What’s more, last year, the Canadian-born social media star was nominated for Choice Muser at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards, and just last month she did a lip synch rendition of “Regret In Your Tears” alongside Nicki Minaj that more or less knocked our socks off.

That said, Misshaps will be her very first move into scripted content, and we couldn’t be more excited for her and this next-level venture she’s embarking on. The first episode is under three minutes long (perfect for viewing whether you’re on the subway, waiting for your friend to come over, or whenever you have a spare few minutes to kill) and will leave you wanting more. Produced by Brat, a new media company built alongside rising creators, this is the first original series to debut — and it’s both hilarious and hella relatable. With each short episode dealing with normal teen scenarios always going comically awry, they make it super-easy to connect with the characters and see similar situations going on in your own life. Now enough chit chat — check out the first full episode here and make sure to subscribe to our channel for updates, It only takes just ONE PUSH.
